Simplicity.
I keep making my life more simple. Facebook finally pushed me over the edge with over-information. I was reading my News Feed and it became quite clear — I hate this thing. And I hate myspace. And I hate that these sites have a lot of my personal information & current life story. And I hate the fact that people love these sites so much.
And then I realized I could save money on my car insurance, sign up for paperless billing a few more times, ask some credit card companies to stop mailing me some crap, quit myspace and overhaul all this over-information. So, I’m doing that. And maybe I can pick up a new hobby this fall, what with all this time not filtering through junk mail. Something I’ve wanted to learn in the last few years is longboarding or some form of skateboarding. I’m really tired and i’m going to sleep good tonite — the kind of sleep where i drool all over the pillow. Good night, folks.

Simplification.
My pastor gave a sermon on simplification a few weeks ago. It’s really caused me to think, “Where are things NOT simple in my life?” From Myspace and Gmail to bank accounts, snail mail, closets, key chains, cupboards and kitchen counters, I’m just getting simple.
Over-information can do this to you. Get you to a point where you’re just sick of–oddly enough, considering my career choice–advertising, cross-sells and messaging. If I don’t value it and the IRS doesn’t need it, see you later.

Google Bookmark Bliss.
in the last 3 days of work, i’ve made the effort of adding every bookmark i’ve ever owned to google bookmarks. if you download the google bookmarks extension for firefox, you’re well on your way to keeping all of your bookmarks in one place. some would call it bookmark bliss. plus, you don’t need an extra account if you already have a google account.

in other news, budget pulse doesn’t seem like a bad idea.
